Winter is approaching..

Bummer.....

First Day of Fall out of the way means riding season is coming to a close for some of us......

Last year I had the opportunity to take a trip Snowmobiling in Jackman, ME.
It was a great offseason fix.... Flying through trails doing 130mph with nothing around you but snow and trees.....Basically each day we spent up there we tried different places to eat and try to find different gas stations to keep us riding...

I'd love to post pics but infortunately I dont have any.....Really pics themselves wouldnt do the trip justice....go do it yourself...they have rental sleds in most northern towns...

Does anyone else snowmobile?

Summer is approaching.

The solution for you northern hemisphere guys is move down under. It's just warming up to another beautiful Aussie summer of riding. Officially starts the weekend of the Phillip Island round of Moto GP.

winter means full suite and hopefully some waves.

I almost wish I could have a true winter once in a while. Maybe for like two weeks so I could get some stuff done around the house.

Winter here isn't all that cold, just wet. And of course, we have a mayor who doesn't believe in clearing the roads of snow or ice, so a couple of inches during the coldest week of the year can immobilize the whole town.

Seriously. A little ice on the roads, suddenly ambulances can't get anywhere. Salt is bad for the environment, you know.

After living all our lives (50 yrs) in NW MI my wife and I are SICK OF WINTERS! Our daughter got smart and moved to Raleigh/Cary, NC (oh how we miss her). Summers are excellent here, but it would be nice to be able to afford to go South for the winter.

Those look sweet, I used to love to snowboard although I was never coordinated enough to stop without falling.
