Question Where to ride...

Anyone know of a good way to find dirt bike riding areas/parks that are local to me without these sites that charge you to find parks

We have one good spot around my area but I'm looking for more.

I realize that this is a paid site-

SIGN-UP Today For Instant Access To Virginia Dirt Biking / Motocross Info & Maps

but you should be able to easily find more info on any of these places to ride.

Also-

Thanks Kristen. I've found both of those sights so far. I may head out to VMP in 2 weeks. 100 miles from where we live, not too bad.

My wife was having a hard time riding in the sand where we rode Sunday so thats why I'm looking for other places.

not sure if your state is the same but our DNR manages many trail systems in MN and they are all listed on the DNR website.

If you wana make a trip south, I know of a good place for beginners and more advanced riders alike - A buddy of mine had about 30 acres of mx, trails and flats land to ride on - Just thrown that out there --

Where is it?

I'm looking into joining Tidewater Dirt Riders

Talked to a guy yesterday that is a member. He said they lease 2 properties to ride on. Both are only about an hour away. They also host Hair Scramble races as well. Seemed like a decent deal...$100 per year dues and ride all you want.

For now though, Slades Park is where we will be riding until we find other places.

Have you thought about a trip to Knoxville, TN? There is a place in Oliver Springs, TN, about 30min away, called Windrock.

windrock

Maybe not for a commute trip, but for a long weekend it has more riding that starts from one spot than I personally have ever seen.

Try the Hatfield McCoy Trail system in WV. Tons of riding in that area, and if you stay at Kathryn's Kabins tell the ol bastard that owns the place to give you a taste of his moonshine.

Well, I thought i was going to buy a NOS front rim for the 750 instead for now. The rim is not what what I paid for... If I get the money back, a bike will be in consideration. I hear you have two bikes?

Yes, I have 2 bikes...You rode both, remember However, The 100 is Amy's and for my daughters as well so I can't beat up on it all the time like we did that weekend. Get yourself a bike

They are all over CL everyday!

Oh, The 4wheeler runs pretty good now. She'll be ready to go by next weekend. Took it around the block a few times yesterday...Woo Hoo
