I saw these things about a year ago in a mall - same problem then as now. Still no pricing, still in prototype stage, still not available to the public. Neat idea though.

adamjayp, I'm fairly certain you didn't see one of these at a mall a year ago. The first time one of these was displayed in public was less than 2 weeks ago. There are 5 models to be released in the next 1.5 to 2 years, first will be the entry level models, the GT and the Shocker. Pricing will be ~$1250 and ~$1650 respectively. Check the site in a few weeks.

Here's another video and a closer look.

My apologies. I did a little surfing to find out what I did see (and it looks like they finally got to market) - Called a "G-Wheel" - and while similar in concept, is not at all the same. Thanks for the heads up.

Yeah, I saw another post on another forum today where someone else had confused it with a wheelman aka g wheel. Once you get a close look, there's no comparison between the MXB and wheelman

Great.
First it was ATC's, then Quads, and now these things.
The first time one of those things gets in my way at Glen Helen, I'm using it for traction.

Sorry guys but I don't take to kindly to anonymous threats. 2000 posts, 5000 posts whatever, he's still anonymous to me. If he said "Hi I'm Ivan Tedesco and I'll be using you for traction" that's one thing. But he didn't and hasn't given his name. I've asked him for his name. If he's half the man his fingers make him out to be on the key board, he'll give me his name.

Would any of you guys (or mods) interpret my above post as a "personal" threat towards standumbared? (The PM he sent was CLEARLY threatening me though!)
I think it was pretty clear that I was stating my feelings about the "Motoboard" and not the person on it. (Although, I have to admit I was getting ahead of myself by assuming that the "vehicle" in question would actually be able to negotiate a "real" Motocross track and therefore could have actually gotten in my way). If I had wanted to make it personal, I would have quoted one of his posts first. Truth is, I couldn't care less who actually built the damn thing, just that I think it's silly. I watched the video and I even checked out the website (nice website by the way!) and it's clear that someone has put forth ALOT of effort building something that would get smoked by a 6 year old on a YZinger. I guess after seeing all kinds of crazy contraptions on the racetracks of So. Cal. over the last 38 years or so, I'm just a little hard to impress.
So if any of you guys think I was wrong in saying what I said, please let me know and I will be happy to apologize to standumbared for my statements.

Personal threat? No. It's all good.

That thing looks like it will end up in the X Games. I want to see somebody backflip it.
