His and Hers

well after selling the 919 on thursday it did not take long for my wife to spend that money. She used to race motocross but a career ending knee injury took her off a bike about 12 years ago. Her knee has been doing a lot better now for the last 5 years or so and when I got my WR last fall she really started missing riding (as much as I tried she will not ride on the street with me). She won't be racing anymore but after test riding a few trail bikes we picked up the new KLX140L on Saturday. Perfect size for her and it's the same weight as the YZ125 she used to race so after a few easy days of riding to get her used to a bike again she should be doing pretty good on it.

I'm going to start figuring out what weekends work and I'll let you know. June is pretty booked so I'm thinking sometime in July. I'll keep in touch.

Thanks everyone.

That's awesome, you guys are gonna have a blast! I recently picked up a couple used CRFs: a 450X for me and a 230F for my fiance. We're excited to go riding together!

I was recently down in SoCal and rode my friend's '08 WR450 for a couple days and fell in love with it!! It's an amazing bike! It was SO smooth and effortless. You picked a winner!

well Saturday was our 7th anniversary and couldn't think of a better way of celebrating than trail riding in northern MN and checking out some fall colors. it was a bit chilly to start but turned into a pretty nice fall weekend. Jess had so many layers on over her protective riding gear she looked like she weighed 200 pounds instead of 125, but she was a trooper and we put on 62 miles of trails on Saturday and another 44 on Sunday before heading home.

I know, we will get over there Mike. this year has just been crazy busy for me and I've already got about every weekend booked thru mid Nov. with one last supermoto race, hunting, and a boundary waters canoe trip which pretty much runs us to the end of riding season. I'm going to have to plan a little better next year.
