If you don't know about GNCC, it's a 13 race series primarily on the eastern side of the US that runs quads on Saturday and bikes on Sunday. The races are timed two hour runs that are completed on 10 to 13 mile courses that go through woods, fields, marshes, streams, you name it... More info at

The season finale race, the "Ironman" in Crawfordsville Indiana, includes the largest hill climb of the season. To make it more challenging, you cross a fairly wide/deep stream and come out of it at the base of the hill - no great opportunity to build any momentum. There are always hundreds of people on the hill to watch and "help", in fact there are spectators all around the courses but especially large crowds by the real challenging areas where you are sure to see wrecks...
Linked here is a short video of Pro-Class racer Adam McGill's quad coming back down the hill and flattening a spectator (McGill rolls down the hill too). McGill actually finished the race in 6th place. Check out the other videos linked on youtube - some of the vids show the real crazy multiple simultaneous wrecks on the hill as the large lower classes try to make it up.
