Naked CBR1000RR "The Catalyst"

Saw this article in Red Rider today. Looks pretty awesome! Dug up a couple links on this sweet bike too:

Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation: https://secure3.convio.net/pbtf/site...udc8z2.app333a

Motorcycle Shows: Cycle World

Auto Evolution: Custom Honda CBR1000RR Raffled for Charity - autoevolution

I'll for sure be stopping to take a look at it when the motorcycle show is in town and will probably be buying some tickets for a sweet bike and a great cause too.

I prefer the one done by Roland Sands:

Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade tuned by Roland Sands - Top Speed

Simple and tastefully done.

.....that 599 headlight looks amazing.

Agreed. The Sands CBR1000RR is very cool. In my opinion much better than his take on the 919 (I think the name of it was BraveHeart or something). I do like on this bike how the side panels and color kinda have a vintage look to them. Not sure what's going on with this headlight though. Hopefully it looks better in person

I agree the Rolan bike looks way better. That other one doesn't look any better in person. Maybe worse actually.

Those side panels look silly and I really don't like the head/light number plate thing. Or the 80s paint job.

I don't like this "Catalyst" at all! Why not just renew an old '80's bike and auction it off?

If you're going to customize and modern bike why not go more modern? The Sands bikes are much better looking in my opinion. The 919 Braveheart was bought by a frend my mine and is here in Houston. This bike looks amazing in person! I'm not sure I'd want to ride it though. I'd be afraid a get paint chip or something.

The IMS is coming to MPLS this weekend. If it's there I will get some better pics if it's worth taking pics of.

I saw his "Conquerr" CBR 1000 at the show in 07 I think. meh, plastic is plastic. Would love to see "Good Fight" in person. I also agree "Braveheart" was bad ass.
