Looks great! But I think your grill needs a fresh coat of paint too

Now I like that, modify a metric cruiser into a cool but reliable custom bobber!

The first Pic is what it looked like the day I brought it home. It started life as an 03 honda VT750DC, with 3,000mi. I bought it used in 05 and rode it for 5 months. I then wanted somthing different so I just started chopping and painting and went with a few different looks before I found one I liked.

The bike looks awesome! Did you use anything as a point of reference or did you just start tearing into it. I have an 83 VT700 that would like to make into a bobber project.

Awesome job.

I dig the pipe tape, matte paint and whitewalls.

Love it.

Would drag bars be a "faux pa" here?

I have this "thing" against hangers.....

When I first opened the first pic, I had no idea it wasn't a harley for that first second or two. It's a great job!

Those whitewalls give that bike a timeless appeal. It looks like it could have rolled off the assembly line yesterday,or in 1952. Really well done. I'm glad I'm not the only Harley guy in here.

Well to me that bike is custom. What I mean by that is that it isn't generic, meant to appeal to the masses. It had a personal touch. And those touches don't attract all buyers. More generic means more people but, then you sell parts to make it look more personal= more money for the manufacturer.
It is a very well done bike. Definitely classy.

Wow I haven't been on here in quite a while and i see my old bob job on the front page. Woo Hoo! Sorry been busy and sad. Both my bobber and my 919 are gone. Sold them both and got a 2010 honda vt1300cs, three months later found out I was having a baby. So my new motorcycle is on the chopping block. Oh well. thanks for the coments guys!
