Bat-Bike mechanics

I know this is an old forum topic but for some reason it caught me eye this morning. It's the development mechanics of the "bat-bike" shown in the Batman movie Dark Knight.
What really caught my attention was the mechanics and all the test rides they did before the shooting. I recall many people commenting on the big tires and the difficulty steering but as the video shows the stunt driver was actually quite accomplished in manuvering the "bike". Granted it's mostly straight lines etc, but it's still pretty cool to watch.....even if you've already seen it.
