I am really, really impressed with this bike ! It handled well, made great power and loads of torque , has a sound and feel unlike anything else Ive ridden and dollar for dollar, is a great deal for this class of bike at only $ 11,599 or $12,399 for the ABS version . I likey alot !
So my question ( not that this is even remotly in the works nor , will it be for at least another year or so, unless I win the lottery or something like that ) , should one get this bike or wait to see if someone comes out with a proper St bike with a V-Twin ? Id love to get on a Ducati ST4 with a 1098 motor in it ,a Buell ST with the 1125 motor or even a new Aprilia Futura type model .

The Triumph is very nice. But, I come from "sport touring" from a very different direction by asking several questions.
- How does one define their "sport touring"? A long days riding? A weekend away? A week away? Majority "super-slab"? Lots of twisties? A lot of 2-up riding? Is there any off-road? Is money no object? Do you plan on keeping it a long time? etc.
My first choice of "money no object" ... GSADV.
Best budget ... converted XX to "sport touring".
Not that I have any bias? Nothing on your poll list stirs me in anyway.

Ive ridden them, just dont like them - Too heavy and just big feeling - If I were gonna go Kawasaki, Id for sure just get a ZX14 and throw some soft luggage on it -
