Question about lube...

Anyways, if all goes as planned and I end up with the shadow 750, I was thinking of putting in amsoil for engine oil and their gear lube for the rear end. What I would like to know is doing thing a bad thing? Has anyone here done it?

This isn't another "what oil is right for me" thread, just asking if anyone has had experience with this. I have used amsoil cycle oil before and I love the stuff. If this has been discussed before, please forgive me and point me in the right direction. And yes, I used the search function.
