It's about 8:30am and I'm thinkin' that would make a great breakfast.
I pulled the smoker out last night, started soaking a bucket full of apple wood this morning before I left the house... I'm gonna smoke me some meat on Saturday.
I gotta say, Topher & rmb ... well put. It IS a good lookin' bike, I just can't bring myself to make payments on a bike. Especially if it's twice what I pay for 4 wheels.

I'll never get but you got to give HD credit. Their marketing is like Jedi mind control.
You think this bike is worth twice what you are paying ................
That shit don't work on me.

he paid, i think 14g,had real low miles,no chrome crap, all black, real sharp. thing is,he just took it for a ride to see what it was like and basically fell in love with it. i guess it's a tad more comfy than his cbr.
but..my orignal point was, sombody said somthing about the handlebars vibrating, and i was just pointing out what i was told by an owner, and i very much doubt that he's embarassed by it.

maybe harley smooths out their crusier motors... but god damn their buell motors shook the SHIT out of you at anything less then 3-4k rpms. (which i know is not true... i look at all the harley crusiers sitting at a stop sign and their mirrors and hands are sitting there vibrating back and forth 1/2an inch easy)

I always thought their motors look like a paint shaker at Wal-Mart.

I just read through, this thread having not been on for awhile. Hilarious. I still have the 919 but still want a cruiser I am contemplating the Honda Shadow Phantom 750 right now.

Phantoms look great. I thought about buying one new, just for cruising last year. But it's slow as balls, and the 919 fits the bill!

agreed, the 750 is gutless. you want a cheap but strong pulling cruiser? get the honda vlx shadow. has more balls than the 750 even though its a 600. 98 is the last year of the dual carbs, 94 is when they started dumbing down the hp. the vlx makes for a great blank canvas cruiser wise. so many different directions you can go, bob it, hard tail, chop it, stretch it, rat rod, etc etc. if you want an idea of what you could do with it, let me know and i can post you a link to the vlx forum.

I will NEVER get rid of the 919. Best bike I have ever ridden period. But I like to run it hard. The Shadow Phantom I think will be a lot better for the wifey and I to cruise around on.

Check out a Magna. A 750 V-4 in a cruiser. Like an Interceptor in disguise. Lol.
