Hmmmm, dual rate springs, maybe progressives but they look like dual rate from the pic.

The motor is underpowered. No need to speed regulate it. Remember in the movie "Stand By Me" the "Lardass" story?
Well, there you go...................
Hmmm, if Honda put the big V-4 in it..........well, that would be another kind of flying altogether!

Some imported pre-loved ones in New Zealand.
Look OK. Kind of like a big curvy girlfriend.
I'm sure I've read somewhere that the engine is a predecessor to the current CB1300 motor.

Wouldnt be caught dead on one but an old neighbor rode one. I had it pegged as a straight-line bike but the wear pattern on the rear tire suggests it can be pushed quite bit on the curves as well.
...tho I guess that's due more to the pilot than the bike.

Weird looking bike, I am kind of partial to the old Honda V65 Magnas, they were the original Vmax fighter.

DO NOT race a 900 Eliminator stop light to stop light.
Those things are WAY fast to 60.

Hi
It (CB1300) is very low geared only has a 5 speed box so you are always looking for another gear.My good lady has a GSX1400 that has better torgue and 6 speeds so it feels less frantic.I will compare them against the 900 Hornet if (when) I get it finished. There are not many 900 Eliminator's over here so cannot test against it.But will keep a look out.

You can't miss one if you see it. Have never seen another bike with a profile like the Eliminator. Bit of a rare bird. Used to see a few back in the 80's but for the most part, I think they led a hard life. Only made for one purpose. Stoplight to stoplight. Power was basically identical to the Hornet at 105hp/63ftlb, but the weight was over 500lbs. I hear they were geared pretty low so they should be competitive against a hornet, depending on the rider of course.

I raced one on my Zephyr 1100, but we were rudely interrupted by the police. Never did settle that score. I think he would have beat me.
The ZL1000 was even more powerful. Have yet to see one.
