Talk to me ...

Cost of ownership? Typical Honda? I know about the frame weld issues. Comfort? Feel? Etc.

I know where you stand on them. I'm surprised you haven't pulled the trigger yet?

uber comfortable... now the 2009 models even the base comes with heated seat and grips..

the comfort level is 10/10 and if you are the .1% who has a complaint there are a plethora of aftermarket parts ...

the engine.. wow.. smoooth... powerfull... will light up rear tire while rolling.. and the handling and suspension are the best of the best.. (air suspension in rear adjustable by a button while riding)

a really nice feature is if you drop it it won't fall all the way over.. there are bars to keep it at about 45 degrees... put it in 1st gear and stand it right back up..

the windshield is adjustable but unlike the st1300 it is not electric.. they figure you set it and forget it..

the stereo is high quality as is the fit and finish of the bike... the luggage is incredible... tons of room...

what else you wanna know... they will run 160 down the interstate and they handle like a dream..

you may also fall asleep at the helm....

I realize "boring" may be considered a goldwing stereotype by some.... but it is something you should think about.

I really recommend you get some seat time and pay attentionton to this aspect. As much as I love my Dad's GL1800 and would love to have one to use....
