Breaking news! Maybe...

Don't know if anyone knows, or cares, but I found this sort of interesting.

Polaris Buys Indian Motorcycles

Personally, I'd love to have an Indian, and if they're going to be as reliable as Victory and have parts available, Awesome. I think it'd be really wizard if they brought back the Indian Four as a sportbike. Maybe have Erik Buell design it. Wouldn't that be a slap in the face to HD... Anyway, chime in.

haha ya, that would be awesome if some other "american motorcycle" company backed erik and actually allowed him freedom with what he used *cough cough* motors... have you guys seen the EBR 1190 Typhoon... talk bout a naked bike straight outta hell! 183hp 93ftlbs!

thats cool to see that indian is still out there and kicking, always thought of them as a cool underdog company.

Knowing what Buell did, I think Polaris should give him a contract to build an Indian and keep it within a reasonable price range (under $10K) and maybe they could sell some.
