09 Kawasaki Voyager

My old man is looking at a loaded 09 Voyager for $12k. Bikes got about 10k miles on it and probably needs new tires.

What do you guys think? I know nothing about these bikes, but I figured someone here would have experience with one.

The bike he has now is an 86 Goldwing with 150k miles on it.

Motorcycle - Trade-In Values & Retail Prices - Kelley Blue Book

Kwak motors are top of the heap where toughness is concerned. The Voyager certainly looks decked out Harley Hog-Like and you know the open road rave those rides get. This is a buyers market right now, and that is a fact. Check the link above, but understand that it is nothing but a small reference in a crazy marketplace. Your Dad's cash speaks plenty large right now so don't be afraid to really hard bargain.

We have a 2009 voyager. Just replaced the rear tire at 10026 miles. We are right at 12000 miles right now. We added kuryakin ISO grips, a HArley trunk rack, and a chatterbox income system. We did 2100 miles in one week over the Blue Ridge Parkway, The Dragon, and the Striped Snake. Butt crawl city but we loved it. Bike has had a recall for heat shielding on the pipes and ICU? was replaced. These were voluntary fixes on the bike. It's been a comfortable, enjoyable, and irreplaceable joy in our garage. We're talking of a Mustang seat and the possibility of triking it in the future. LOVE MY BROWN KAW!!!
