Vintage turbo bike rally report from a friend

Last month 20 guys on old Turbo's met in Dahlonega near Deal's Gap. Here's an exerp from my friend Scott that I though was funny:

(the host) planned out awesome ride routes. At 70 years old he is the best rider I have ever seen! He was ridding a 1983 Honda 650 turbo. Now in the straights we all passed him. Once in the twisties, he picked ALL of us off one by one. Now imagine a 70 year old man on a bike with a 120 or 130 rear tire, riding in a collared shirt with a pocket protector in the front pocket passing all of us!!

I'll dig out a pic of Scott's bike, a restored 750 Turbo with a Triumph single sided swingarm on it.

There is an old guy with a full dresser hog that killed me on my 919. He was sending sparks off that luggage in the turns. He was fast and smooth.
