'82 katana GSX1100?
Always loved the look of this classic. Anyone here had/have one of these?
Considering picking one up as a project-bike, Anything to watch out for? Typical issues/problems?

They are bulletproof for all practical purposes.
Awesome machines, on my want list.
They are also somewhat collectible.

Exactly why I want one.
The big dream is a restored katana converted to 17" wheels, modern brakes and suspension. Would trade-in my 919 without a 2nd thought if I could get my hands on one.

One recently sold on ebay, in mint condition, it brought $4200.00
Suzuki : GSX / Katana
And another nice blast from the past -
Suzuki : GS1150
And another nice zook from the same seller -
Suzuki : GS1100
Ridiculous sale of the year has to go to this Harley, $100,000.00+, oh my!
$100,000.00 Harley-Davidson
I would rather have one of the Suzuki's!

I've seen one in a Japanese motorcycle magazine with GSXR conversions: forks, triple clamps, wheels, rear subframe etc.

Here's another beauty. nice paint job, and a single-side swing arm.
