If you love motorcycles, have a look.

Hey All. Been a while since I contributed a worthwhile thread, so here it is. As some of you might remember, I recently bought back my first ever Honda CB350. Now, in the past, I've been a stickler for period correctness; my CB750 was as near perfect stock as i could make it.

For this though, I want to take a different direction. My thinking, since the bike's pretty ratty anyway, take it and do a one off Honda Afrika Korps themed bike. This is where I need your opinions and possibly help.

Anyone in the know, knows that the Afrika Korps used venerable BMW 650 and 750cc twins with sidecar attachments. My problem is, i know nothing about sidecars and wouldn't have any idea on how to fit one or build it. Don't you have to adjust the bike's suspension rates? I don't know these things!

Chime in you gods of motorcycle wisdom. Any plans for making a sidecar? Thanks dudes....

And BTW, I'm not some closet Nazi or anything. My family fled Germany in the 30's to get away from those homicidal wackos. I just think it'd be really cool to roll out on some Saturday morning in the fall to go pheasant hunting in a sidecar hack Afrika Korps bike that i built myself...

Most sidecars have 4 attachment points on the frame. On a bike like the 350 shouldn't be to hard considering the exposed frame.
