Hornet 919 patches

I got to thinking the other day that I might like a patch or two to put on my riding jacket, and I thought I'd open this up to see if anyone would be interested in buying a patch based on the same design as Cmurphy's hornet 919 stickers?

I sent off for a quote from a company called Butler Patches, and they sent me the following for an oval 4-inch patch:

10 pieces at $17.10 per piece, for a total of $171.00
20 pieces at $8.89 per piece, for a total of $177.80
50 pieces at $3.97 per piece, for a total of $198.50
100 pieces at $2.32 per piece, for a total of $232.00 (Best Value)

I haven't seen a sample yet, but this is a reputable company and I expect their work will be excellent. If there are ten folks interested, and willing to commit the money lets do this!

Hope you all are enjoying the spring weather!

Hey, what's with the negative vibes, man! I just posted the quote they sent me. You're probably right, but I'd bet there are ten or twenty folks who might go for this...

I'd go for two of em myself.

FYI There will no doubt be some small associated fees with setting up the order and then shipping them out.

I'd be up for taking one also.

Two if we hit the twenty mark, and the price drop.

ok, good interest level! looks like there may be enough for the 20-piece rate, if everyone who says they would get 2 or more will follow through.

allow me to sum up:

Shadow - 2
Mr T81 - 2
Blackheart - 1
Tpschil - 2
HondaJim - 1
Andrewebay1 - 2
Monkeywrench - 2
Rona - 3
RMB - 1 (maybe 2)
Blackthorn - 1 (maybe 2)
ST-Doclizard1 - 2
Melliston - 1 (maybe 2)
Raybob1 - 2
_______
Total so far: 22 for sure..... that puts us into the $8.99+ fees per patch range....Good!

Let's see who else pipes up in the next 3-4 days and have a look-see then!

Maybe I'm illiterate, maybe I skimmed too quickly, maybe I'm just blind but I don't see anywhere that a size is mentioned. Is this more of a small shoulder patch, or is this going to give me 1 of 3 patches required to become a 1%er?

Hey, if we get to 50, I'll take two. It would be cheaper to buy two at the 50 price point than to buy one at the 20 price point!

Alrighty then! We have achieved critical mass! now it's time to put your money where your mouth is...I'll be sending PM's with my paypal info, and I'll need to get mailing addresses from you all...it doesn't have to be YOUR address, I'll send em to wherever the hell you to tell me to!

once I get a big enough chunk of money in I'll finalize the order and get the ball rolling. Butler Patches said they could have the patches ready by around May 1st depending on when the order gets placed, so let's get going!

I believe we can go with the 50 patches pricing, but to cover fees and such the final price per patch will be $5 per patch....sound fair?
