Full Yoshi system for the 919

It's Saturday night, a few beers have been sunk - ironically a couple of Millers - who'd think that I could purchase a dozen American beers in New Zealand cheaper than a local brew!

But I digress.

I've just confirmed online a wee tax return for the 2010 year and started surfing for 'goodies'

Found this wee treasure - is it for real - someone phone them and see!

It does seem too good to be true, doesn't it? It sure piqued my interest!

Allan, there seems to be allot of "wee" ing going on there. But then, with a 12er of barley pop, I can understand that. Now, is it that you are looking for somebody stateside to pick the pipe up for you and bring it down under? Surely if it were to fall on my capable shoulder (my right one is giving me fits these days) I would make the journey if I only could. Alas......................I am a poor and wretched orphan with no monetary commensurables and in need of a Saturday bath. Woe is me.

Ya, that's a "TIT" price on the system, big Al.

PS, Allan, did you ever think it might be a hoax? After all, who in their right mind would name a city Kalamazoo?

I have searched high and low for a full system option since buying my bike a month ago. It looks like Two Brothers made one at some point but I've never seen a Yosh until now. Is that an old/obsolete listing? Better call them...

I may end up doing the ceramic coating on my headers as I hate the poor finish quality. I've never owned a bike that required scotch bright scrubbing on the headers from day one.

Everything looks better after a few beers! Actually I deal with a printing company called Kalamazoo - did not click on that last night (beer again)!

I'd hate to think of the cost to send a full system my way - a pair of slips on with USPS is US$114 to NZ! Add another $50 if using UPS!

.

Mambo, while I was resting this afternoon, a vision came to my mind on that Yosh system and in the vision was a fair maiden who had no clothes. Well, the imprtant thing was that she said the system was for a 2005 Hornet. Is that old and obsolete?

I guess it could be very old inventory, because Yosh hasn't used that logo in years. If I was you, I would send the link for that site to Yoshi's customer service and ask if they ever made a complete "downswept" system for the 919.
Be kind of cool if they did!

When I googled the item number it came back as the dual slip-on system they have. I assume the listing is wrong.

Yeah it's wrong. Here's the response from the store:

hi, tim here. this is a slip-on system, not a full system, and it only fits a 2002 CB919. if you would still like one there are 3 left, i can set you up, just put your order through. thank you, tim

They're all the same as far as slip-ons.

Even after I call twice to verify that I was going to get the same item, it came and then went right back to the vendor. I got exactly what I already had, twin yosks , the the complete set up as pictured. It only took about 2 weeks for them to recredit my account. This after I called twice and had the pn# verified...I think I ordered my from Badditts?
