Ever pop a tire... me either (I tried though)!

2002 cb919 tire roast / burn-out - YouTube

She is my "A to B" trans... nothing more, nothing less. Last fall my FC unit took shit... repair guy found the prob., I never thought to check.

Anyways, after up and running - the rear tire had belt showing and figured I would try to pop it since I had a new set on order.

FAIL

A little bigger than a golf ball is what was collected... and will remain a fixture of my sidewalk for many years to come! haha ... surprisingly (not really), A LOT of the rubber was re-disbursed across the apex of the tire from me rocking the bike back and forth. A quick ride to the local Plaid pantry and back yielded a 5" or so strip of exposed belts and such.

Shit, the mark left as I dep'd melted rubber on the driveway is there still too!

As always, thx for the bike compliments!
