Never mind whether he can actually get $8500 for any 9er, I'm just wondering what the story is behind painting a bike with a Shelby Cobra-style racing stripe, painting the helmet to match, and then never riding it at all.
Bike looks real nice, but thats a lot of money invested on something that was rode less than the miles I covered playing around today when I got out of class.

I agree, thats a lot of work to never ride it, but damn he did a nice job on it. Looks great.
