Dont roast me, need headlight advice

Recently had to sell my red 03 z1 that was clean as a whisltle to pay bills came across some hard times (self induced dont feel too bad for me lol). Any way Ive been riding damn near 20 years now, wow Im only 33. Ive had all sorts of bikes from all over the spectrum. Previously the 919 was my bike of choice but after that 03 z1 the crown has been relocated... This bike works for me better I really dig it. So amazingly I came across a 05 that had been downed but still runs/shifts great just a touch beat up for basicly nothing, cant belive the deal I got. The tank is toast the front cowl is busted up and the headlight is cracked. Ive already replaced the bars with some renthal fat bars and Im trying to get headlight ideas. I LOVE the stock set up but damn theyre pricey. Id need the cowl the headlight and the bracket that and a tank is damn near what I paid for the bike! and Im ballin on a budget over here so to speak. So if any of you guys have a different headlight youre using or know of one Id like to see it! I was leaning towards the dual dominator but that seems .... dare I say played out? I mean it looks great, but Ive seen em on other bikes a hundred times. Not a z1 yet though.

Thanks in advance, and if you got a tank let me know lol.

Quick breakdown of my motorcycling past, I dont get how people buy one bike and stick with it you gotta "try on" different bikes see what "fits"

95 gsxr 750
97 gsxr 750
03 gsxr 1300
03 vtx 1800c
04 vtx 1800c

03 919
99 TLr
00 blackbird
00 TLr
03 919
98 KTM 620
98 900rr
03 FZ-1
03 Z1000
05 Z1000

Dirt:

00 cr 250
Warrior frame with a Yz426 motor High comp piston ect.
85 250r ATC
85 350 ATC (my farvorite dirt machine why oh why did I sell this one!?)

Im sure Im forgetting a few, but as you can see Ive got some saddle time on different machines and I pick the 1st gen z1. Its nimble, powerful, predicable, and comfortable. Ive not been a kawi fan in the past honestly. Theyve really stepped up their production quality the past ten years. But anything thats got two wheels and makes cool noises is all right in my book! Post up some headlight pics people!

the o4? 599 headlight looks great but cost the same if not more (i think more) than the 919

it looks good will fit between the 919 mounting tabs with a little work and it has dual bulbs much better light output

I think he means an 05 Z1 not an 05 919, hopefully I'm wrong and he has come back. We need pics please

Yes I now own my second Z1000, this one is a '05. The Z just BARELY nudges out the 919 for me personally. Id love to have both but honestly they are just too similar to have both, rather have the Z and a RC-51 or something different. It wasnt easy, the 9 is a fantastic machine and I feel the build quality on the honda is significantly better. But the extra ponies and the stiffer frame feel sold me, again BARELY! The 599 light looks good and will be strongly considered, I may lean toward something a touch more aggresive looking to match the lines of the bike.

Good to see you back around here, was wondering what you'd been up to every time I see the Craigslist thread... Good luck with your headlight!

My son bought a mashed z750s and we put a dominator kit on it. I was impressed.

That does look good, I never get sick of the dual dominator look. I guy on another forum has some dominator knock offs hes gonna sell me for ten bucks! Its a decent band aid at least. I really dig the LSL but 450 clams.... really?
