That's where I just got mine from but with a 45 rear. Seemed to be the best deal out there.

my question is why stick with stock gearing? if you are replacing everything try something new. How worn are the original sprockets?
The original sprockets still look okay, but I'd like to have a brand new sprocket to compare them to. I know they have some wear on them since they might be the originals with almost 23,000 miles on them.
I have no reason to go away from stock gearing. I'm perfectly happy with it. I get great fuel mileage, for whatever reason my bike doesn't buzz badly at high speeds like others complain of, and I can still get the front off the ground when I want.
Good product, good price. It would be hard to go wrong with this setup Chris. If it's in the budget, you might want to upgrade to the Supersprox/stealth rear sprocket. xrmikey and myself have been using the supersprox with great results and I think it's worth the extra coin.
PS...NEVER put a new chain on worn sprockets...unless you're trying to ruin it of course.

I called Supersproxs and they do not currently have the 43T rear in stock. I won't be doing anything about my chain until winter anyway so I told her I'd just check back after September when they are supposed to be restocked.
BTW. Since you are our resident guitar expert, thought you might like to know I'm sitting at the office picking on my 1959 Gibson J50 It's been a slow day.
Sweet!, was that your Grand Mothers Guitar? It looks to be in very good condition.
That's the one. She picked it up at a garage sell in the mid-late 60s for something like $75. She threw out the original paper style case because it smelled so bad from being stored in a shed. It's in pretty good condition. I had it appraised by Gruhn Guitar in Nashville, then went to the Gibson store and they had 2 J-50s on the floor both newer and in much worse condition and they were asking more than my recently appraised price. I don't get it.
I will never sell this one, but had it appraised for insurance reasons.
Are those stealth sprockets really worth the extra $50? They're slightly lighter? Is that it? This thing is my dd. Is it going to make any real difference?

Was also wondering about these. Any opinions on this? Looks nice to upgrade, but is there any real advantage?
I ordered my chain and sprocket kit(same as OP) on the 15th, and it showed up today, the 17th. That's California to South Carolina in a couple days. Everything looks great. Way to go SprocketCenter.com!

My exact thoughts on the subject!
Have been considering doing a new chain and sprockets, although mine still seem fine at 14k.
I ordered from the sprocket center the D.I.D. 530 ZVM2 series X'ring chain, and a 17t CrMo front, and a 44 Supersprox STEALTH Tri-Metal Rear Sprocket.
Hope it gets here before I go to the Philip Island MotoGP (Get Well soon Casey).
Yeah, well I ordered from the Sprocket Center the D.I.D. 530 ZVM2 series X'ring chain, and a 17t CrMo front, and a 44 Supersprox STEALTH Tri-Metal Rear Sprocket for my Hornet.
What I got in a box addressed to me was two chain and sprockets kits for a Suzuki DRZ 400 meant for a bloke who lives in Wagga Wagga, in New South Wales, Australia!
Well at least after all the cash I fork out for UPS delivery they managed to get the wrong order to the right country, so it could have been worse!
I wonder who they (Sprocket Center) expects to pay the return post costs???????

I ordered the Sprocket Center combo with Drive Systems sprox a couple of days ago, and they were out of stock of the 530 VM chains or something...so they sent a 530 ZVM instead, no extra charge--arrived today. Free upgrade, how cool is that?

I'm seriously about to order a kit from SprocketCenter.com now. Is the Supersprox worth $45 - $50 extra? I use the bike for a daily driver and have at least 15,000 miles on this chain/sprockets and possibly about 30,000. I know I put on half the miles, but do not know if the chain and sprox were changed by the previous owner or not.
I don't mind an all steel sprocket, but what is the advantage (if any) of the Supersprox sprocket?
