Can't find rattle

My 919 has developed an annoying rattle. Sounds like thin metal coming loose on something, but I can't find anything loose. I was at a track day this weekend, and had a lot of knowledgeable people listen. Their suggestion was starter spring or something loose in the exhaust. At first it sounded like a cam chain, but I got a rod and listened to the engine and couldn't hear anything from the engine. Also, the engine ran fine, and I ran the hell out of it for 2 days on the track, so I don't think its internal engine. It doesn't sound internal, sounds like something mounted to the frame, but I've gone over the bike 3 times and can't find anything.

Also, the rattle is most pronounced at a certain rpm range, of which I didn't think to note. I'm guessing 4,000 to 6,000 rpm. The noise starts about 3,000 rpm and can be heard to redline.

Your suggestions are welcome!

Thanks,
That wasn't it, but your suggestion helped me find it.
I have the Givi engine guards, and the bushing that joins the front tubing was loose and rattling. I didn't check it at the track because of the heat from the front headers.

In case anyone is interested, the Givi engine guards didn't drag.
I also tried Michelin Power Pure tires and they were great. Just as sticky as the Power Race I had on it, and seemed to handle better. But that could have been because the Power Race were worn.

I was about to ask you if you had givi guards but read down and saw that you found the noise. I listened to that noise for six months before I found it. Thought I had a broken ring. I watched my case guards in action Saturday night for about fifty feet from a street level view. They did good. So did the Givi E21 case that now looks like someone tried to pollish it with a belt sander and 80 grit. The Plexi GTs right wing got the belt sander also but didn't break. No damage to the actual bike. All good purchases.

I had the same rattle, loosen the guards and work a little silicone in the tubes and around the bushing, problem solved.
