Another new 919 owner and to WT

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Scott and IM fron St. Paul Minnesota. I just bought (well a month ago, but didnt know about this site) a 2002 919 and LOVE IT! Best street bike hands down. I came from a CBR 600 F4i, and that was a great bike but my back didnt like that one bit. Anyways I ve been riding bikes since I was 3 and love them!! I have been racing motorcross and trials for years and riding on the street for 5.

I will do my best not to ask some questions that have already been answered and really like what I see, This forum looks like its going to be great for information and maybe even getting some rides set up, being there are some 919 owners around me!

Thanks guys!!!

Welcome. I'm down in Lakeville, so real close.

If it is stock it probably won't be very long. This place is a sickness...

Thanks a lot guys!! My 02 is not stock. I bought it yellow (YUCK) so I had it painted Black. (actually the color is called black diamond, comes on the new hummers, has a nice pearl in it) and I threw on a set of Renthal moto bars, did the bafflectomy but looking for exhaust right now! Also wanting to get some shorty levers asap and a intergraded tail light.

This forum is very dangerous!!! LOL I cannot wait to get going on some mods and little things that I read, just wish my wallet was deeper!!

And let me help you shallow out that wallet

there are many other options. This is a list I compiled last year. Some of it may not be current, but at least it's a start for you.

Oh great how could you do!!!!!!??

LOL Thanks a lot, I like the list idea, and man those MIVV cans look amazing. I cannot decide if I should just go with the duals or go with the low mount with a GP pipe. I really like the low mount, but more money. Thanks again!

Rich- Nope! Team Z, refers to my dad, uncle and myselfs motocross team, Team Z Motorsports.

c'mon...buy somethin...

900rr conversion should be less than 2 new undertail cans. Just have to get some headers in good condition. The above don't look quite right, but just an example.

Hey Scott....Keep in mind that if you do the 900rr exhaust, you will not be able to use a centerstand....it gets in the way. if that matters to you.
