919 Picture Thread

I was thinking we should start a sticky picture thread for people's 919s since there doesn't seem to be a forum category for photos. It would be a good place to see what's out there and grab ideas. In particular, I'd like to see str8ghtjacket's right now, looks like you've got some straightbars on your 9?

If this is a dumb idea, you all can tell me to shut up, too

I'll start by adding a pic of my bike.

I must be retarded.........I'm trying to attach a picture......but it won't open the pop-up window. I've even turned off the firewall, antivirus, and pest patrol. I even disabled window's pop-up blocker. Oh well

websch, post more, your bike is sick! If (when?) I ever drop mine I am painting it matte black. Is that the Acerbis Blitz light? I'm just about to put that one on mine, once I get it back from the shop...

Great bike st8, I am glad to see I am not the only one that f's off at work

Thanks for the pics!

The install of those lights wasn't hard, the plug that came with them connected right to the bike. I just needed to space out the existing brackets a little more, a few washers on each side did the trick and actually looked pretty good when done.

Junk? That's not junk. I see a very important beer fridge, a place to lay stuff and smack on it, etc. But no junk.

You want to get into the whole "mod or not to mod" question? If someone has to explain it then you'll never know.

Why don't we argue about motor oil while we are at it.

Yes, no, YES, NO!

Hey 919newbie, They are Renthals , but not the Ultra lows, model is the H971 if that helps, And Bock as far as the Wave rotors go I like the way that they look and Im sure they are lil lighter and would prob increase the stopping along with new brake lines , After my last fall I need all the help I can get , I ride in rush hour everyday so my chances of running across some yaahoo slamming on his brakes in front of me are lil greater than most, not to mention the occasional deer in the middle of the Highway (dead or not) no offence taken though to each is own !! As for the Oil , sneaky reg honda oil for me try to change pretty often though, new baby cant afford syth every time , at 8 bucks a quart, str8

Still needs some work...front SS line, levers and quality mirrors.
I hope to do paint over the winter but aren't positive.
Actually wouldn't mind picking up those Givi crash bars.
Etc. etc. It's never ending really.

In my case it was repairing what I had.
As far as the wave rotors,They work better.
Everyone always goes the "make it faster route" mods.,but forgets the "stop fast mods". I'd rather have a machine that can get me out of trouble faster than into it.
They are about 3lbs.lighter per rotor. less rotating mass.

Did you paint the clutch cover or replace it? Can't say I've ever seen a red cover on the 9er. I kinda like it.

Sticker police! Remove the swing arm sticker or go to sticker jail!

I like the red touches.
