I punched a cat once. It scratched me and hissed a lot.

EDIT: Just want to clarify that I've never actually harmed an animal. I like animals.

Bock: When I bought the bike the cover was scratched so I took it off, sanded it down and painted it.

I like the Honda wing! I must admit that I do still have the swingarm sticker, though. Beneath that sticker is probably the only clean spot on my bike.

If you try to remove one of those stickers on a new Duc be prepared to cover up that area with another sticker. It really hurts especially when you just plunked down 15k on said bike.

websch - love the clean look of your bike. How difficult was it to add the rim tape?
The black accents (levers, bar, top clamp, frame cover etc.) really add a lot to the look of the bike. Did you paint or powdercoat the top clamp and frame cover? I plan to do the same, but will include a black fork and swingarm as well.
Where do you guys get the black sprockets?

Not the Honda wing stickers. The "wear a helmet" sticker right behind the fuel fill lid. Doh!

I have not been riding as much w/ the new German Shepherd pup and other hobbies. Weather around Seattle has been pretty poor lately as well. We took a trip to Italy in the start of Sept and I actually got some pics of a actual "Hornet".

Kind of funny , in 2 weeks in Italy I saw 2x 919 but can't count the ammount of 599 I saw. My lady and friends thought I was crazy for snapping a shot of a 919 Hornet. First one I ever saw in person with the actual Hornet decals.

The Villa we stayed in was right in the middle of some wonderful twisty country roads. Our Villa was right on a nice sweeping turn. I sooo badly wanted to rent a ride and take it through the hills. All I could think of while driving our 6spd Fiat was how it would be on my 9nr or Ninja.

Been away from forums since Project919 and previous forums went down. Couldn't log in for the longest and then the forum seemed to go away so I got linked from 919.org to here and here I am.

I hope to get some better pictures of my 9nr once I have time to clean it and have some sun. Still want rearsets, springs and more but will have to wait. Proposed in Rome and now I can't spend anymore on the bike till after wedding and house. Tried to do that Sato rearset group buy but the lady really put the foot down for the first time and now the Garmin Zumo got shot down as well. Not even married yet... douh!

Sorry I wrote so much, I couldn't stop.

No prob.. just glad you still got the 9er and are still floating around the ether. Seems you kept the shinny side up.. that can't be all bad, right?

Welcome to the new place. Let's hear a sound out from all the former Motorush folks. See if any handles ring a bell.

I have found that when I take pictures of my bike, it looks cleaner in the pictures than it actually is. You can't see all the detail like on a dirty wheel or chain. Except when the flash is on, then the bike looks dirtier than it appears in person.

I'm glad you put in the "919." For a second, I thought you were talking about the little lady.
