Just looking at eno45's pictures, it seems to me that the frame mouted sliders are too high to do much good, it seems the cases would touch first, long before the sliders would protect them. On the other hand, the bracket on the frame/engine setup has lowered the sliders to a position where they would do more good, and taken the shock load away from both the engine and the frame?

I did a parking lot speed drop with Motovation frame mounted sliders and the sliders took all of the fall. No scratched cases, slightly scuffed slider, happy 919 owner (though feeling a little stupid).

Thanks for the info. I'll get the other sliders when I get back in the country. I actually dropped it once with those sliders on and they protected my bike and I didn't get a broken motor mount.

Bock, Motovation and the CSG Motos.... we're talking about 2 different products, right?

To me, the CSG Motos look like they might do some good. Probably will order a set in the near future from Wild Hair for $145.

Exactly how I did mine!
