2011 CB1000R handle bar

Any one plan to put the CB1000R handle bar on the 919? It is 28mm at the clamp areas, and Honda does put bar end weights on it.

Sounds like a plan - you'll just need the 22 to 28mm adapters and you're in.

I'd suspect the Honda factory bar may work a lot dearer than a brand name aftermarket fatbar though.

It would match the gold calipers on the later 919's I just wonder when Honda will release the parts for order.

The adapters are must, and I am hoping it will work much more dearer than aftermarket in terms of weidth or pull back setup. I want to change to the 28mm setup, but don't want to put dirt bike bar on street bike.

I'm interested to see what the price is. I'm sure Honda will charge double the price of aftermarket.

Hey Showa,

This is the only place online here in the states that sells OEM parts for the CB1000r that I have found thus far.

Heres a link for the handle bar

Honda Motorcycle Parts: Babbitt's Sports Center, Muskegon, MI

It looks like tag number 8. The part number is 53100-MFN-305. Price $131.25.
