There is somebody out there that deserves, no, is destined for that bike and who has the proper yingum to influence you. I say pull the thing off of E-Gag and post it in an upscale Collector Periodical and get that damn price back up. Far be it for me to step between a man and his monetary needs, but that bike is as sharp as a scalpel and deserves to be displayed upon a pedestal much like a superific tantamatious soulmate.

I am shocked that you are trying to sell this bike, after all the work you did on it and money put into it. Sorry to say but I am hoping no one buys it and your are forced to keep it:001_smile:.

Easy my esteemed colegue. We do not know of this man's financial turmoil and wishing him a misfire may do him a grave injustice. Let us join hands and hope his needs are met, then we sup on a feast, drink from goblets overflowing and nip on nubile butts of fair maidens who dance to our delight.
Pass the bong please.........

They better not wreck it--did they assure you of such? Too sad. If I had $$$, you were closer, & it was street legal.... But then everyone else is in the same boat
I've just spent the past hour or so reading through your posts - I'm gutted that I didn't find this thread earlier. I have an RVF400 of my own tucked up in my garage in the Bahamas. I bought her in the UK and when I moved over here I couldn't bear to part with her, so I had her shipped all the way to an island thats only 30 miles by 9. It's a shame really because I can't really let her stretch her legs but I figured I'd give her a decent retirement.
I was reading your post about the coils and the wiring with most interest. Mine is currently running pretty much the same, although she used to run perfectly so it must be something else. I suspect bad fuel. Anyways it's inspired me to get back to the garage and give my bike the love and attention she deserves. You did a great job working on your RVF. It's a shame she had to go.
Maybes if I can't get my bike running properly I can 'hire' you to come to the Bahamas and take an expert look at her. None of the mechanics have the appetite to look at anything unusual over here and I don't trust most of em..
-- wanted -- RVF 400 diagnostic expert for secondment to the Bahamas. accomodation & pool provided. Bring yer own flip flops..
