Awesome bike. Not a fan of the rainbow racing stripes though. Question, Advocatt: Have you ever had something as ordinary as a 919? If you did, how'd you like it?
i use to own a zzr1200 and zx14. i dont like too much, not becoz its not a good bike but i am not really into touring..i dont know why i bought it back then. i still have the superduke but hardly riding it becoz it turned me into a hooligan on the street, same like my duke 690 (sold).
the bike i have owned before are laverda 668 diamante (thrashed), honda sp1 (recently rebuild), rsvr factory, zzr1200, zx14, daytona 675s (sold), rc8r & rc8r limited akra edition (sold) and a few i dont remember.
currently in my stable..
bmw hp2, rsv4 factory, mvf4, ducati 916, cagiva mito ev n lawson, katana 1100, brutale (for my wife), vulcan 900, vespa lx150, rs125 and rgv250, bsa250, tz250r and gs550.
i like to share my experience but my english wasn't so good, and explaining technical thing make it even harder for me. thats why all this while i only share pictures..
i realy do like that aprillia you got, and you say it is more flickable than your cbr 1000 what year cbr1000 was it you had in know the most recent modle is supposed to be very nice for flicking back n forth, so that would make v4 just silly good. i myself love a bike that handles like that.

i raced a cbr1000 2010 model last year. yes, its so smooth and easy to flick but the rsv4 is easier but the honda is smoother. the inline has a wide chasis compared to the v2 or v4, so cornering would be better with the v and the v4 is also fast in the straight line..not like the v2..
