Very nice.
+1 on the Red, White & Blue Interceptor. I've always been a big fan of that.

I really like the Interceptor. Dealer in town still has a new one that I'd love to snag up, but I'm the utmost broke SOB here!

Not sure what can be done to give this bike more power. Maybe buy a discounted 2007 CBR1000RR. This bike isn't about power wheelies but I have heard that a 2008 CBR1000RR will do 3rd gear power wheelies.

I heard from a VFR friend that there is a VFR1000 appearing which will also be 60lbs lighter. Has anyone heard similar stories?

Now you have struck a nerve. On another site I'm a member of, leading up to the Honda dealer releases, all we heard was "V-5, 160 hp, VFR style and superbike power." WRONG! There were several sites that claimed to have spy photos but many were photoshop tricksters. I could see Honda building a bike to compete with the 'Busa or ZX-14 and use a 1000cc V-4 to power it but with our economy in the tank (in some places), I doubt we see it any time soon.

Why'd Honda stop building the Blackbird? From what I hear, a friend, tells me that with the normal upgrades everyone does, theres nothing to outrun it up to 190.
You Houston fellas really need to get to know your friendly local cops who ride hot bikes and you too might just be able to fly up and down the interstate raceways 'bout 3 in the mornings. I'm just saying...

Back in 1983 I bought a 750 interceptor the first year they came out. That bike was a head turner then and remains that today. Congrats, nice bikes!

With its 16" front wheel it was also a head shaker!

Yeah me too, to me it says classic sportbike. I used to drool over the Interceptors in the 80's.

Very nice. I love the red white and blue. I had a 1984 VFR750. Still have a soft spot for those bikes.

Have you thought about or tried gearing it down a tad? Maybe one tooth up front or if that's too much, playing with the rear sprocket?
