sorry to say - don't miss my 919 all that much.. (why did't Honda just put the 929 engine with no detune in the 919 - why is it only the italians, who dare to do this, a sports engine with no detune in a nacked bike..A country known for anything but their courage otherwise - sorry to the italiens if any here)

I sat on a 900RR at the honda shop the other day while picking up a bearing seal. I have to say, it was immediately uncomfortable. I couldn't handle 10 miles on a sport bike, I think.

One things about the Danes that us Americans don't understand -
They're taxed heavily, and pay dearly for their hobbies.

But - they can spend their money without thinking about retirement.
When they retire, they are taken care of.

Unfortunately, no - no more!
Our government for the last 9 years, has in every way imaginable done everything possible to imitate Mr. Bush!
The box is empty - and even though our taxes are sky-high, and VAT and other taxes is without comparison the highest in the world, our retirement age is now 70 years!
And poor you if you have not saved up for your old age, you're going to live on nothing if you have not!
We have outsourced almost all production to china and the like, to meet our dear leader's vision of becoming a knowledge society - the only one not followed it, was our government ... we have failed seriously here in Denmark, so although I would like you were right, so no - you are not anymore!
And for those who want the shock - a Honda 919 in 2002 cost 29,500 U.S. dollars, we pay not less than 45% taxes and a general salary in Denmark is around 58000 converted to U.S. dollars + we pay 25% of everything in VAT 1.56 USD per. liter of gasoline - in state tax (one liter of gasoline costs $ 2.45 today, all in all) ++++ there is no end to the tax horror here, and at the same time cut down's in everything we used to pay them tax'es to

oy05 - I appreciate you taking the time to clarify what I *thought* I knew.
I regurgitate 10 year old "knowledge" frequently -- as I get older, sometimes I forget the world is constantly changing.

It does peeve me that not only does the USA squander tax payers money, but it's spreading throughout the world.

A higher educated workforce does not seem to translate into solid policy making / politicians.

oy05.....Mr. Bush is a spendthrift and a penny pincher compared to Mr. Obama. Seems you as well as curiousmike are a little bit behind the times albeit on different subjects.........

That is some beutiful country you have there though. And your 929 brings back very fond memories of mine.
