buell

YouTube - EBROfficial's Channel

If i had the coin i would have one of these bikes. don't know if anyone has been following the 1190rs but here's a build of the motor and some testing.
I am disappointed in the crank design but what do you expect it's a twin.

Good for Buell. The only thing that ever really held him back were those HD motors. Glad to see he's still doing his own thing.

I'll start by stating that I've been a fan of some of the HD engined Buells.

But

Sorry I don't particularly rate him. Too many bikes released with too many issues maybe or his insistence with 'Buell technology' that is often far from unique or even significantly advantageous. I've yet to see a Buell build that cuts it against opposition of remotely similar $ value and on a level playing field (ie 'rules' are not 'adjusted' in someones favour).

Can't see him ever being more than a interesting boutique builder for the rich.

Did HD shaft him? It was a messy end but was it even a viable product?

Sorry fans. Happy to be proven wrong.

And - how come when he designs a friggen ugly bike the US media all called them 'unique' or different'. If they'd been Japanese they have had a roasting.

HD stopped backin him once he realized that the HD motors he was using were the biggest POS's ever.... ull notice JUST after the release of the 1125CR that oh ya HD decides to shut him down... no coincidence there IMO.

im glad to see mr buell still doin his thing, building his very cool designed bikes with a GOOD motor.

Im not gonna lie i LOVE the look of the buell xb12Scg ... and i can not tell you how awesome the ergonomics were of that bike... it fit me like a glove... but upon test riding all that was ruined by the god awful thing known as the HD motor. that crap power making, roast your nutz off air cooled vibrating POS just ruined the bike.... now had you put a motor like the one in the video in XB12.... then you would have a winner.

that almost 1200cc vtwin sounds like its a HIGH revving twin !!! would be very interesting to see some dyno numbers!

nvm... looked it up.... 1190CC vtwin 185 RWHP @11,500 RPM (Dynojet Rear Wheel) 93.0 Ft-lbf @ 9,500 RPM (Dynojet Rear Wheel)

DAYUM!!! that thing revs as much as our 919's!!!

OH FUUUUCK that looks mean... god ya if that comes out i would seriously consider it... those rotrax motors are pretty damn good... FAR FAR better than the HD motors... and the design is so bad ass!

he does... if you ever sat on a buell you would know. back when they were under harley the ONLY thing wrong i found with the xb12 was the fuggin POS harley motor. the ergonomics were AMAZING breaks were awesome, handeling was great... but the motor killed it all.

if buell makes that bike above that would be AWESOME.

Yeah but there was a long period where it looked like he was building them for the workshops ..........

Anyone else notice there is bugger all inside the engine! Nice.

What's with his new logo? - looks like a Honda wing!
