I was in the garage today and figured it's time to start shaving some pounds on the BKing...
Started with the rear mud guard/license plate...
Removed the plastic cover and found a steel frame underneath with the turn signal mounts intact so i re-installed them...
I removed the lower section of the frame and flipped it upside down then re-welded it back to the frame aligning it to the lower bolt hole on the rear brake light...
Next i had elongate the inner bolt holes on the bottom of the new setup in order to mount the new license bracket...
And here is the finished product, i forgot to mention, i welded nuts to the frame to mount the upper half of the brake light...
I see the face thing you're talkin about ... lolol ... but good job though man ... that took some creativity if you came up with that all by yourself ... Nice work ... ...

Thanks stevo, i was planning on fabing a bracket but when i saw that the original had a steel frame underneath ideas popped in my head and i came up with this.
Next im gonna remove the emissions canister and i'll post pics of it's removal...
I think the exhaust is the B-King's downfall aesthetically speaking.
I've seen one with the two brothers slip-ons and they look waaaay better than stock.
...but I realize money could be a factor there.
How about the exhaust their huge. I'm sure you could lose some weight with a nice yoshi exhaust.
I love the exhaust, but your right it weighs alot!!! If i do remove it i will just put two megaphones in it's place to make it look more like the concept bike.
I think im going to remove some of the baffles from the muffler next, i want some more rumble. Eventually there will be two crome megaphones back there but that's when the money's right again. Thanks Recession!!!
