05 ZX6R

Hey

So I traded the 919 in for an 05 ZX6R.

I know trading Honda red for Kawi Green may seem like a traitorous thing to do but the deal was there to be had! I'll have some pics up soon, after a wash and wax this weekend the bike should be nice and shiny for the camera!

I'm looking forward to some fun fall riding in the twisties and some track days next year!

I've learned quickly from this forum though, SS brakelines are ready to go and frame sliders on order!

My cousin has one that is all street fighter-ed out and caged. fun bike to ride when it's not in a state of repair. It's his stunt bike so he is always breaking something on it. Enjoy.

I imagine it would be a sick stunt bike... Already had the front wheel off the ground, completely unintentionally!

Hmm I think I'll stick to my plans on taking it to the track! Parking lot heroics have never been my style.

Nore mine but as long as that's were they keep it I'm fine with others doing it. and there bikes are a hoot to ride when they are running. Unfortunately many of the "club" my cousin belongs to does a lot of there "stunting" on the highway too including him. that I am not cool with. I'll still ride his bike though.

Some pics as promised!

Busy weekend so the wash and wax/picture session took place at midnight on Saturday...

The bike is very stock save for the tail tidy (the aluminum wrapped wires are a bit of an eyesore) and rear seat cowl. I took the rear passenger pegs off, if there isn't a seat why should there be pegs?

Other than that I was out riding for about 4 hours on Saturday, it's so light and nimble that you just have to make the smallest of adjustments to move around. The ride position is aggressive but not uncomfortable, though I did have some lingering monkey butt...

More rides to come!
