WTB: Womens leathers
Ok, ok. I know my chances of scoring leathers here are slim to none, but...
on the off chance that any of you hear about used women's leathers surfacing on the market, please keep me in mind.
(AND, before any of you hooligans go linking to halter tops and chaps, keep in mind that I'm looking for track legal leathers. )

Craigslist.
The number of "used once" set of womens gear available is high.

Lucille, there's a ton of them on Dallas Craigslist on a regular basis. And depending on your sizes, there's a shop in Garland that may have a suit for you.

Once you find some you are obligated to post pictures of you wearing them.

I've been watching craigslist for a few months. Only one nice women's suit has come up, and it was $700. If I'm going to spend that much, I'll buy new. I've been searching craigslist in every city within a 6 hour drive, too.
There is a lot of womens "used once" stuff, but finding nice reasonably priced gear in my size is a crap shoot. And there's always a ton of men's pants/jackets/suits, but they are all WAY too big for me. If I were 30 lbs heavier, I'd have it made.
CB700S, tell me more about this shop in Garland. Are you thinking of Two Wheel World? I haven't been in there in over a decade, in fact I had completely forgotten about them until now.

Are you familiar with SearchTempest - The EASY way to search Craigslist allows you to search multiple craigslist posts at one time.
Good Luck

And XRCajun, thanks for you links too. That's what I was hoping to get out of this thread. I figure many of you peruse other forums, and I appreciate you taking the time to help me out and search their classifieds.

You're welcome! I didn't have much time to search so if you can't search it just let me know I'll have more time at night. Also if you'd like any help communicating with someone just let me know.

Nope, no luck. But thanks for asking.
I've been keeping a watchful eye on craigslist. I figure I have until next spring before it becomes an issue again.

Have you checked with Audrey at Motoliberty? She's having a big clearance sale of leathers through today. They close at 4.

Dang. I think they would both be way too big for me. The size charts I found for Hein Gericke stuff suggest that a 40 in the jacket is equal to a large in most other sizes.
Thank you for taking the time to reply and post pics, though.

It would be difficult to tell how they fit without shipping them back and forth... if they didn't.
The girl I got them from was 5' 6" 115 lbs. and her x bought them so he could get her on the back of his BUSA and ride 100 mph wheelieis
Scared her so bad she will never ride again...
You are welcome.
