WTB - 919 Gas Tank

Yes, the inevitable has happened and I now have a 2003 919 with a substantially dented tank. Wondering if anyone has (or knows of) an undented tank available? (I know, I know... fat chance).

Although I'd prefer the the original "matt bullet silver" color, I'm not picky at this stage.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller...?

Thanks,
Steve

Minor get off. But I managed to hit the tank before going over the bars. It laid over in the dirt with no other substantial damage (couple of tweeked signals and a busted brake lever).

Sorry to hear it.
I biffed it early last spring before the road grime was cleared away two blocks from my house, low speed. Makes a man feel sick.

Anyhow, the cheapest new replacement I found was at MrCycles*Honda*Kawasaki Polaris*Suzuki*Yamaha*Motorcycles ATVS Scooters Utility Vehicles. Cost $511, which is a giant expense, but $100-$150 cheaper than I found anywhere else. It didn't ship quickly, but it got here eventually.

Good luck.

Oh yeah, nothing but a couple of scrapes and bruises (to my pride more than anything). I hadn't dumped a bike since 1977. But so it goes...
