Want to trade- mint Red tank/tail/fender for Black
Bike is a 2007 919 with 1800 miles on it, but I've decided I like the black more than the red. Everything is totally in mint condition, nothing much more to say! I'm looking for someone who would like to trade black parts that are in great condition as well.
If you've always wanted to switch over to red this is your chance!
I was on the way to pick up an 03, Matte black with only 7k miles and got a call that it sold. Lucky I was only about an hour away from the house. I went to look at another Matte black 03 and saw my gloss silver 04 sitting there.... 04 was in much better shape with lower mileage for $500 more sooo... I guess my point is, if you like your 07 and intend on keeping it either A. Buy another set of tins and paint them your color of choice or B. Paint your red tins to your color of choice. Kinda unlikely to find someone to swap out just tins but you never know. BTW is red the ONLY color for 07???? It's the only color I've EVER seen on an 07 model...
i would jump at that, but mine arent mint, well the tank isnt, the prior owner rattle canned it flat black to cover up a hair line scratch so its not exactly identical.

lol...yes, I'm pretty sure that dent is from my forearm as my bike was forceably ejecting me. I may try to pull that dent out using a stud-welder or something, since its not on "the line" of the tank...

I have a 02 matte black, only two extremely tiny lil nicks in the front of the tank that I haven't touched up yet. My wife is telling me not to switch to red, but I dunnooooo
