Want to trade- mint Red tank/tail/fender for Black

Bike is a 2007 919 with 1800 miles on it, but I've decided I like the black more than the red. Everything is totally in mint condition, nothing much more to say! I'm looking for someone who would like to trade black parts that are in great condition as well.

If you've always wanted to switch over to red this is your chance!

Wow, pristine 9er barely broken in! Someone's getting lucky. You know the black models are slower right?

Hmm, and trade the adjustable suspension (such that it is) for a 'fixed' version ... ok.

Tell you what. I'll trade you my 2000 Passat with 180K miles for that Camaro in the background.

That would be a good trade.

Paint???

I was on the way to pick up an 03, Matte black with only 7k miles and got a call that it sold. Lucky I was only about an hour away from the house. I went to look at another Matte black 03 and saw my gloss silver 04 sitting there.... 04 was in much better shape with lower mileage for $500 more sooo... I guess my point is, if you like your 07 and intend on keeping it either A. Buy another set of tins and paint them your color of choice or B. Paint your red tins to your color of choice. Kinda unlikely to find someone to swap out just tins but you never know. BTW is red the ONLY color for 07???? It's the only color I've EVER seen on an 07 model...

I've got the matte black tank from my '02 ready to trade. the paint is fine, and it's in great shape other than one small dent...

but no worries, I'm told that should just buff out!

lol...yes, I'm pretty sure that dent is from my forearm as my bike was forceably ejecting me. I may try to pull that dent out using a stud-welder or something, since its not on "the line" of the tank...

150 psi should do it, you may be able to put another gallon or two in as well
