Anyone want a set of Tharbars?

I need an excellent condition set of Renthal Ultra Lows....... matte black please.

I have 2 sets of adjustable posts with the Tharbars...... a longer never installed set, and a shorter track set.

This is the set that was on Rob's bike....it was the last of his last batch. Because it was installed on his bike, and my bike.....the powder coated black in the center shows a few clamping marks.

Simply put......the THAR bars areee aweeeeeeesome. I did 1,000 miles in 2 days with them in comfy mode...... and then rode another 1,000 miles of twisties at Deal's Gap in race mode. Simply amazing design.

I would also recommend the SW-Motech Up and Back risers to complement this bar...... this would give you the Ultimate in adjustment. As you can see in the photo below, I ran the TharBar with a set of 20mm SW-Motech handlebar up risers.....awesome combo.

I've never run the Tharbar with stock lines......however the Galfer Steel lines that I have on my 919 have always been a tad long and have given more than enough adjustment. Pretty sure the stock lines would be the same way also.

I'm asking $125 + your Renthal UL. They must look good. I'm o.k. with clamping marks.

2nd DIBS!!! But I'll send you a pic of my bars and you let me know if that works for you. Not sure the brand, but the angles are similar to Renthals. But if that doesn't work, can I get dibs on your risers?

Sorry guys..... to really make it worth my while.... I need a good looking set of bars to sell the bike with.

I would be willing to sell the bars by themselves..... but, by the time I buy a new set of Renthals and sold the bars for around $150......... I'd only be about $80 ahead.

Far better to do a swap with someone and benefit both ends.

Arctic any chance you'd like to sell just the spare bars? I'm thinking I'd like to try making a bend in them to see if that gives me what I'd like to feel. I'd like to try bending the bar ends forward and then rotating them closer to me. That would bring down the price of the Tharbar set and maybe make it easier to pass off. Let me know what you think.

Quite a number of new sets are available.

For details see: http://www.tharengineering.com/tharbars

The powder coated ones will be available in a couple weeks, depending on when they can get to my "small potatoes" sized job.
