2002 919 for Sale

Hey everyone. Some of the old-timers may remember me from a couple years ago. Used to hang out here quite often.

I am selling my 2002 919 for $3000 OBO. Just don't have the time to ride much anymore and have some expenses I need to take care of. Pics below.

Has a aftermarket lower bar and 900rr exhaust. I also installed braided steel brake lines. (Thanks Rob) Has a small ding in the tank. New levers and side covers. I will need to pop in a new battery and will bleed brakes before sale. I also have an extra set of brake pads a perforated jacket size large I will throw in.

Email me at jeggert at jeggert dot com if interested.

Hey dadogs! I have been great. Really busy with the fulltime job and freelance projects. I started doing custom Wrodpress skinning and it is taking off. Had a broken arm all summer and couldn't ride. Need to sell this to cover some expenses then will be looking for something "vintage" next summer. Good to see you're still around.

Wrodpress skinning? Broken arms can put a little damper on the fun stuff but totally understand selling things to cover expenses...matter of fact a new owner will be taking delivery of my niner this weekend but at least I know she's going to a good home!

Over the winter I'll tinker with making a cafe outta my wifes CM250 and try to iron out the electrical gremlins on Bonneville.

What kind of vintage are you looking at?

I see your headers are ceramic coated? Or just painted?

I know someone that might be interested if you wanted to make a few extra bucks parting out and going stock...

Yo Gert! Get it?

Hahahahahahahahaha. I'm in the sort of same boat as you having to put my Black Beauty ZX10R on the auction block. It blows, but I too need the long green.

I am happy to see you checking in, but feel for you having to sell, bro.

BIGDAA,

Hope everything is well with you. Sucks having to sell but I just never get to ride anymore. I'll probably get something older, ala CB750, in the years to come.

6-Pack, PM'ed

g00gl3it- I'm trying to sell outright. I don't have time to wrench anymore. Which is part of the reason I'm getting rid of her.

I kinda wish Id taken the full payout on mine after my accident, so I could buy yours from you! The roadtrip would have been an added bonus!
