2001 929 Rear Shock FS

I grabbed this shock from a buddy for possible use on my 919.. I've decided against it, however, and would like to sell.. The bike had 1200 or so miles on it when pulled to put the bike into racing duty..

$85 shipped in the lower 48..

No surprise that you'd know.
What's the preventive detail ?
A few things no doubt.
Perhaps both the attachment points and the length.

Thank you.. I did a search on this board first and found one post where the question was never really answered.. Case closed.. I'll post on the VFR forum..

Furthermore, I don't have EBay access for work, where I posted originally.. So I didn't realize I should be asking more like $55 shipped..

If it wasn't for the fact that I want to be able to use the centre stand and love the twin outlets, grafting on a linked rear would be on the to do list.

It has been done before, it might be woodyee's bike that has that mod, and if not, it's another Brit.
I remember the pictures.
A Honda swingarm was used, but I think it was of a 600.

A linked rear would be a huge improvement for the track.
