I bought a new seat which I sent to Sargent to be modified so I no longer need the original. It's in fine shape with the exception of one minor rub spot on the underside edge of the cover - see pic. It's not torn but just worn from being on and off the bike. The seat pan is perfect and would work great for a Sargent or other seat mod. I'll take $100 plus actual shipping. PM me if interested and I'll get a quote.

Well, we've also had people on this site pretty much give stock seats away for change or even just shipping, so I guess we're spoiled.
When did someone on WT sell a pristine stock seat for less than $80? You trying to get me to give it away? I know 919 people are cheap asses and my M.O. is already buy high and sell low but I ain't giving it away. I'd rather cut it up and experiment with it.

I didn't suggest anything for you to do, it's your seat. I was only stating what has been seen on here before.
When Corbins go for $450+ on ebay and we sell them internally here for $350+ it's the same thing.

I don't need the money and just offered it for sale on WT at what I thought was a very good price, just as I've done with other 919 items that I've sold recently. Usually the item is gone within 24 hours because I price things cheaply. This one will go soon enough.

1. I have been cleaning out a closet full of extra 919 bits because I need the room for an undocumented worker/sex slave to sleep.
2. I tend to price my used items cheap.
3. I posted here and on e-Bay in the form of a very short 3-day auction for a reason - I am traveling tomorrow and thought that anyone who may need a cheap seat fast could bid and I could have it on the way to them today. I don't need the money.
4. It didn't sell so in post #6 I stated "hey guys still have the seat - will let slave use it as a pillow - shoot me a line if anyone needs one.
Done, end of story, thread done, or so I thought.

No, you are not a bad guy, yer an a$$hole which is ok too as I fully support anyone's right to be themselves. I prefer being a prick myself and I am damn good at it, but that is just me. The deal is though you have to be able to take it as well as you can dish it out and that is where you fail.
I'd much rather be reading about piston face combinations and spring rates for 919 rear shocks or other such things.
