I lowered it a few hours ago on craigslist to, got one big bite and hes local, said he will come out sunday to check it out...
I have 2 other 919's im going against on craigslist 03 black 5100 miles for 3200 and a green 04 with 9500 miles for 3400... thats why I lowered it so much plus mine has a dent in the tank.

wow --- thats ALOT of bike for $3,000. Good deal. Not to mention its the '04 with the newer suspension.
Ya, I second that.
It's a buyers paradise out there. Of course, many "buyers" or prospective buyers might not be able to find two nickels to rub together which of course sucks hope and change a whole shitload.

mike's right. have a contract written up and signed by the both of you. set a deadline and if the deadline goes past then you keep the deposit. also write it so that it's an agreed sale to prevent him from backing out at a later date.
