***SOLD*** Fox F3 double adjustable shock

One Fox double adjustable shock for a Honda F3. Just serviced, ready to go. It has a #750 lb. spring. This shock will fit a 919 and it is the right length and is adjustable for lenght. All that needs to be done is to get it sprung and re-valved, for the riders weight.
Would like to get $250.00 shipped to the lower 48.

I've seen an F3 shock listed here before as an application for the 919; what gives?

Is there an ocean of Fox/Ohlins/Works/Penske G00F3 shocks out there as potential shock upgrades for the 919?

stock f3 shocks have a much different spring rate than whats needed for the 919.

OP in this form is it usable (as far as valving / spring rate) for a 919 and a 165ish lb rider?

curiousmike, I think that there is.

nd4spdbh, When I put it on my 919 it was under-sprung. I am 185. I would not venture to say if it would work out of the box for your weight. I know when I went up 50 lbs on the spring on my shock on the RC51 I had it re shimmed.

Just to clear things up. To set up the shock for a different spring rate and to adjust the compression and rebound all that is usually necessary is to re shim the valve, not re-valve. Valves are expensive, shims are not.

I am somewhat surprised that no one has picked this up and had it set up for themselves.
So I will have the shock re sprung and re shimmed for your weight and riding style for $425. shipped to the lower 48.
