Need Fuel Tank/2006 Suzuki VZ800

Found pin hole in tank, need a new one. 2006 Suzuki Marauder VZ800. Found a couple on ebay...people keep outbidding me right away. Does anyone have one for sale or know anyone who does. Any good and not so expensive parts dealers online?

Why not simply fix the one you have?

take it to a local welding shop... they will drain the gas... fill the tank with water.. weld up the pin hole... then you smooth it... put a touch of bondo... then some spot putty.. primer.. base coat.. clear coat... lots of sanding inbetween... voila... good as new and probably cheaper than just a tank...

or take a chance on getting a tank in the same condition as what you have...

i dunno

Ive seen several of these bikes delvop a pin hole leak, only to find the whole section of the tank is done - For some reasonwhen these tanks delvope a pin hole there is normally alot of rust along the seam just waiting to break on through - Do some tapping with your finger around the spot to see if it might be solid enough for reapir , if not, the new tank will be the best/only ropute -
