I got this bit of observation recently to my above post, and the little marker was grey which means the donor is under a sea of cherries and I'm just getting a kick out of it.
I don't know, I figure the more things change, the more we succumb to PC crybabies, but that is only this man's most humble oppinion(is it spelled with one p or two?)
M-R is looking mightee fine, paco.

There once was a cool forum called Wristtwisters with a benevolent overlord known as Jetblast. Jet had several loyal lieutenants to keep the flow rolling along smoothly and he checked in daily and interacted with all of his followers. Many even had the pleasure of meeting him since he made it a point to travel to various gatherings and events whenever possible.
Wristtwister members discussed motorcycles and current events, shared jokes, argued politics, gave each other support in trying times, even elevated poo to an art form. Some came, some went, some were banned, some returned. Many new members found this special site and joined up, thrilled to have found a like minded group of people. A surprising number of people seemed addicted to WT, spending a large portion of their waking moments checking in to see what was happening that day.
All things must change though and a young motorcycle enthusiast purchased the website. A wave of uncertainty swept through Wristtwisters but Lash came in, made some updates, chatted a bit and all seemed well.
But wait, then things began to change, somehow attittudes were different, old members became disgruntled and Lash was nowhere to be seen for months at a time. Rumblings began behind the scenes, what was happening to our beloved Wristtwisters, would it ever be the same? A not so subtle uprising began to form, many old timers faded away, unhappy with the direction and tone the forum had taken.
The remaining faithful mods surely noticed this and shared with the new owner, as he finally reappeared and promised hope, change and a greater presence. Hope and change, hope and change, the mantra of our times. The change is already happening, the hope is that it's a good thing. A concerned membership casts a wary eye and waits to see what happens next.
While the use of language is a change for this site, personal attacks are not allowed. Please keep that in mind. You can beat each other up all you want by PM, rep comments, whatever, but not in the open.

Wait! Have we not been told, nay, hammered into our very ears that "Change is good"?

Ya, that's what "the mantra of our times" means. Change can be good, or it can suck. Time will tell.
I'm not clairvoyent, but I am informed and have been so for quite some time. It won't take much time now, for the weeds of despair to take over the garden. That sound coming from the East...........the sucking, slurping sound...that's for all of us. No profanity needed to describe this sitch. The sitch itself is stageringly profane.

In 1915 T. Roosevelt said, in a speech to the KofC, "There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all. "
