Tapatalk Support?

Hey folks,

I haven't been on WT in a while. This is partly due to being busy at work and WT surprisingly being blocked (labeled as being malicious? wtf?). Anyway, I've stumbled upon Tapatalk. I have an iPhone and use it a lot. I think it'd be great if Wrist Twisters joined the Tapatalk Network. Adding the Tapatalk plug-in to the WT server will parse the forum for use on the iPhone via Tapatalk. What do you folks think?

Thanks

In a nutshell, it sets up the forum to be viewed natively on the iPhone. It wouldn't be a glorified mobile version of the site, but a full-fledged version using the Tapatalk API. It parses the forum data(base) in a fancier format that can be viewed through the Tapatalk app for the iPhone...

Another way of putting it... It's like a web-based email app versus a native a Windows/OSX email app. I suck at explaining things.

Awesome, thank you Lash, I am LOVING it on some other forums I use! I'm told it's a simple plug-in? It makes using forums on my iPhone VERY quick and easy!

I do not have an iPhone so I'm unable to test it out... is there anything you do not like about it? Are you using the free or paid solution they offer in the App store?

You can use it on Android phones too! I tried it out with the free version first but it was read only so I bought the paid version and it is worth every penny! I am not sure what all phones Tapatalk works on, I think any smart phone?

I've been searching for the mighty WT on my Tapatalk but can't find it? Did it give you trouble listing it?

I'll try to be more patient but it's really not a strong suite for me! I am also just trying to keep reminding those in charge... Don't mean to be a pain....

You're fine. Not a pain at all. This group of ownership can make things happen. I 'm just sorry you haven't been given some kind of answer by now, be it no, yes or maybe. I haven't forgot about this though. I would really like to see it happen. Stay tuned.

This would work great on my iTouch too if I hadn't ruined the thing.

I sent this from my BB. Much easier to use than before.

Oh, I just typed it in there to be cool like Woody. Now I have to figure out how to do it automatically. Soon as I get home it's going on my Ipad nano.

The one problem I see with the "Sent from my ... using Tapatalk" being added is that it could be bad for search engine optimization. Unless you really love having that added, maybe we could setup something where an image at the bottom of the post says "Posted from a mobile device". Images don't effect search engine optimization since they are not text.

Makes sense. I don't need it. A mobile device pic would be alright but I don't need people to know where I am sending from. Moot point anyway. Stopped working on my Storm2. Like everything else with that POS.

Since I fried my iTouch I can't check it but I believe you could turn off auto signature on that also. I just keep it off on my BB. Who really cares if you're sending from a mobile device or not?
