Alright guys. As we continue to see the never ending cycle of the same ol' questions pop up, how about we start using the tags feature of the new forum. At the bottom of each thread page, you can add up to 2 tags of your own.

I see this useful for tagging all threads about tire, oil, or paint. It could also be used to help identify all threads used in the Helpful Topics section of the site. There are several responsible members and mods who spend WAY too much time on here, so I say take a second to tag things as they come through. I went back and tagged a few old tire threads as an example.

And as tags start to get used, I will create a tag cloud so people can see what active topics are being discussed in real time.

When you are creating a new thread, you will see an input field box where you can enter separate words aka keywords aka tags. Users on the forum can click these tags, and find other threads on the forum that have the same tags.

A tag cloud is a display box that will show a cloud, or an array of various tags. These tags are pulled by popularity, meaning most used, and it looks at a timeframe, usually the last 14 days. Then, a user can see the most popular topics in the last 14 days on the forum.

If you click the Search link in the Navigation Bar up above and choose Tag Search from the drop down menu, it will send you to this link which will show you our current tag cloud:

From there, I chose the tag word "racing" and this provides all threads on the forum that have the tag "racing" on them:
